Cops 'n Bobbers

Medina Police are hosting Cops ’n Bobbers, a special fishing event that pairs local youth with police officers for a fun day on Lake Minnetonka. This program is open to Medina and Loretto residents ages 7–15 and is designed to build positive connections while enjoying time on the water.

Event Date: Tuesday, August 11th, 2026, from 8:30 AM -2:30 PM

Nomination Deadline: Tuesday, July 28th, 2026

Submit the completed Cops 'n Bobbers Nomination Form via email to police@medinamn.gov or in-person at the Medina Police Department, 600 Clydesdale Trail. Additional forms also available in-person at the Medina Police Department.

Night to Unite

The annual neighborhood parties are scheduled to be held on Tuesday, August 4, 2026.

Register your neighborhood party by July 21, 2026.

For parties registered by the deadline – Medina police, firefighters, and city council members will make a visit to your event.

Night to Unite is sponsored by the Minnesota Crime Prevention Association and local law enforcement communities. This program is designed to provide an opportunity to meet your neighbors and to work together to build strong, safe, and united neighborhoods that are proactive in crime prevention by:

  • Heightening awareness of crime and drug prevention
  • Generating support and participation in crime prevention and community policing programs
  • Strengthening neighborhood spirits and public safety-community partnerships

Fun Fest

The annual Fun Fest event is scheduled to be held on Saturday, September 12, 2026.

THIS IS A BIENNIAL EVENT

 For Kids (ages 3-12):

  • Bring your bicycle and join the Medina Police Department for a fun day of learning about bike safety.
    • Prizes
    • Obstacle Course
    • Police Vehicles
    • Bike Inspections
  • Registration is encouraged, but not required.
