Night to Unite

The annual neighborhood parties are scheduled to be held on Tuesday, August 5, 2025.

For parties registered by the deadline – Medina police, firefighters, and city council members will make a visit to your event.

Night to Unite is sponsored by the Minnesota Crime Prevention Association and local law enforcement communities. This program is designed to provide an opportunity to meet your neighbors and to work together to build strong, safe, and united neighborhoods that are proactive in crime prevention by:

  • Heightening awareness of crime and drug prevention
  • Generating support and participation in crime prevention and community policing programs
  • Strengthening neighborhood spirits and public safety-community partnerships

THIS IS A BIENNIAL EVENT

 For Kids (ages 3-12):

  • Bring your bicycle and join the Medina Police Department for a fun day of learning about bike safety.
    • Prizes
    • Obstacle Course
    • Police Vehicles
    • Bike Inspections
  • Registration is encouraged, but not required.

Cops 'n Bobbers

Medina Police will be hosting a Cops ‘n Bobbers Fishing Program. This program is about kids fishing with police officers and spending a day on Lake Minnetonka! We will be able to host 15 participants – nominations are accepted for youth ages 7 – 15 that are residents from Medina or Loretto.

Event Date: Tuesday, August 12th, 2025, from 8:30 AM -2:30 PM.

Nomination Deadline: Tuesday, July 29th, 2025.

Submit the completed Cops 'n Bobbers Nomination Form(PDF, 224KB) via email to police@medinamn.gov or in-person at the Medina Police Department, 600 Clydesdale Trail. Additional forms also available in-person at the Medina Police Department.
