Hamel Water Treatment Plant Expansion and Upgrades Project

The Water Treatment Plant (WTP) that delivers water to the Hamel Water System is in the process of being expanded and upgraded. The WTP removes unwanted Iron & manganese and was originally constructed with two filters along with space for the additional third filter. This project involves the addition of that third filter which will help Medina reliably meet the City’s growing water demands.

Medina Clean-Up Day

April 25, 2026

Hosted by Public Works in response to federal regulations requiring municipalities to educate the public on protecting stormwater quality, the City of Medina is sponsoring a citywide cleanup day the last Saturday in April from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The event will be held at the Public Works Facility, 600 Clydesdale Trail.
