Hamel Flea Market FAQ:

• When do we open? Usually the first Sunday in May.
• When do we close? Usually the last Sunday in September.
• What time do we open for customers? 6:00 AM.
• When do vendors setup? Some as early as 4:00 AM.
• Are there Sundays that we will not be open? Yes. Mother’s Day and the Sunday after the 4th of July. There could be more, check the flea market website. https://www.hamellions.org/flea-market
• Will the flea market be open if it is raining? No.
• How much is rent? $20 per slot.
• How big is a slot? A slot is equal to 2 parking spaces.
• Does all of my stuff have to fit in the slot? Yes, otherwise you will be charged for a 2nd slot or more.
• Can you reserve a slot? No. It’s first come, first choice.
• After I setup, can I park my car or truck in the customer parking area? Yes.
• Where is the customer parking? Designated parking areas only! The east end of the upper dirt parking lot, the front southeast corner, the east side of the Medina Entertainment Center (MEC). Do not park in the roped off area in front of the MEC, that is for the Roberts restaurant.
• Can you park in the parking lot of the businesses on Clydesdale Trail? No. The business will have you towed at your expense.
• What can I sell? No weapons or pornographic.
• Can I throw away any of the stuff I brought to the flea market in the flea market garbage containers? No, bring it home.
• Where do I pay the rent? Hamel Lion volunteers will come around and collect the rent, usually around 7:30 AM.
• Where would I find a Hamel Lion volunteer if I had a question or need help with an issue? They will be around the covered trailer in the northwest corner of the lower parking lot or driving around in the green Polaris Ranger.
